Photographs of Czech Records

And next I’m going to post the images of each birth record that they photographed, with the translations. Each birth record takes up one row across two facing pages of the book, with information listed in different columns. When my parents photographed these records, they took multiple pictures of each record to make sure that they included everything. So I think what I’ll do is make a separate post for each individual’s birth record.

(Here are photographs showing each column heading – these headings at the top of the pages show what information was to be recorded in each section of each birth record.)
The columns are (left to right):
1. Year Month and Day a. Birth, b. Baptism
2. House Number
3. Name of Child
4. Catholic
5. Not Catholic
6. Male
7. Female
8. Legitimate
9. Illegitimate
10. Stillborn
11. Father’s first name and surname, reputation or occupation, birth, birthplace, and parents
12. Mother’s first name and surname, birth, birthplace, and parents
13. The Godparent’s first name and surname, and occupation
14. Midwife and note
