A Cool Online Book about the Austro-Hungarian Army

I was all ready to start posting some really cool Czech records, and then I got sucked into searching for our sergeant again, and I came across this online book about the Austro-Hungarian army. (This book refers to WWI, and I think our soldier was pre-WWI, but I can see some definite similarities between our soldier and the ones that are described in this book).

Note the same “pom-pom”-looking marksmanship cords hanging from these soldier’s shoulders as our soldier is wearing in the photographs.
