A Little Family History Post

So, I just wanted to add something ‘fun’ from my genealogy real quick. This is a picture of my great, great grandfather, Courtland Oliver Dick.

(When we decided to name our little boy Courtland, I thought that it was such a cool, original name. I figured my grandpa’s family had made the name up and we’d never, ever meet anyone else with that name. Boy, was I surprised to find more than just a couple people who know someone named Courtland. And I guess there’s also some college out here in New York state somewhere called Cortland College. Who knew? I still think it’s a really great name!)
