Ignatius Fritz and his siblings

So, these are copies of birth records from the microfilms that I ordered in October (and have finally just now had a chance to look at the film for the second time since they arrived at our family history center here in November, and make these copies). Ignatius Fritz is my 4^th great grandfather (Stephanie Lynn Chidester Bradshaw>Amy Lynn Spohr Chidester>Carl John Spohr Jr.>Nettie Dorothy Graham Spohr>Susie Florence Dobbins Graham>Florentina Constantina “Florence” Fritz Dobbins>Ignatius Fritz). Ignatius Fritz was born 11 December 1821 in Forbach,Baden, Germany, the third son of Ignatius Fritz and Maria Elisabetha Wunsch. Ignatius Fritz and Maria Elisabetha Wunsch had seven children (that I know of) between 1819 and 1833: Alexander, Sebastianus, Ignatius, Maria Karolina, Friderika, Joseph (yes, it was spelled with a ‘ph’ on his birth record, and not with the more common German spelling of an ‘f’), and Maria Anna Fritz. All of these birth records for Ignatius and his siblings are from microfilm 1045735.I’ve also ordered several other films from the same parish, which I am looking forward to looking at and hopefully finding some new information about this family when I can get a chance to get back over there. I haven’t had much luck reading these records (these birth records in paragraph form are much more difficult for me to translate than the Czech birth records in the column format), but I could at least read the names well enough to find each of the siblings’ birth records. There are lots and lots of Fritzes and Wunsches on these films – I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll somehow be able to figure out their relationships (like if one of the other microfilms that I haven’t looked at yet has marriage records so we can find out who the grandparents are of some of the children that this microfilm provides birth records for).

Well, I just started uploading the copies of the birth records when I realized that something must have gone wrong when I made the copies. I ended up with a copy of Ignatius Fritz' birth record, and the birth record for his brother, Alexander Fritz -- for some reason I had duplicate copies of Alexander's birth record for all of the other siblings. Aaarg! Now I have to go back and make the copies again. Don't know why it did that. Oh well, here are the ones for Ignatius and Alexander, at least.
